I was offered a job position in the US via email. I had a phone conversation with this person to review the position and what was going to be required to open a new office in the US. I was being sent a check for $4900.00 which was requested to be deposited immediately to provide for office supplies. The check was received from Canada and was drawn on a bank in Oklahoma. Upon checking with the bank, the funds were available. I did not deposit the check due to not being able to contact this person or Hydrix Technologies for a period of two weeks. Another organization was listed in the offer email as Avecho Technologies. Apparently the hiring company for Hydrix Technologies. When contacting the bank via phone, it was found that the check was a fraud. I have attempted to contact Rodney Aubin who allegedly is the HR manager as well as Hydrix and Avecho (using the "Contact Us" link on their respective web sites) on numerous occasions via phone and email without a response from any of them for over a month. I spent over $90.00 on my phone bill attempting to contact these frauds not to mention the salary lost for being out of work for over a month.

They are coming after Veterans. Offered phone interview with $65K pay.

It’s a shame that they are targeting Vets. I tried to find the company searching the web and no luck.
