Me and my girlfriend ordered a bottle from this website and were asked to pay over PayPal. We were guaranteed delivery by Christmas and it did not arrive by then. However, upon closer inspection, we noticed that the email was not from the hydro flask company and was instead from a third party with a scam email and website with two d’s in the word hydro.

I was on Facebook and a sponsor appeared selling discounted Hydro Flasks. - https://exclusive.fashioncupshop.com The site is made to look like a real Hydro Flask site unless you look at the URL. I ordered 4 and paid with paypal which should have been a giveaway. When I got the receipt the seller name was in Chinese. I did receive the product but noticed some differences in these ones and the ones I purchased from REI. The bottom writing was a different size in wording. The placement of the logo at the bottom was at a different height. The lid did not have Hydro Flask written on them. I went to return them and realize the website was not on the confirmation email and the company name was in Chinese. There was an email address but never received a response. I went back to the website and they have no contact email address, phone number or physical address only a form.

I ordered a product off of this website thinking it was an official Hydro Flask site (it came up when googling Hydro Flask). After looking at my credit card statement the following day, I quickly realized that I had been scammed as the billing name was not Hydro Flask. Additionally, the purchase amount was for $41.20 when it should have been $40.00.

I have to wait until the purchase clears to report the fraudulent charge. Buyers beware!

I clicked on an ad in my Facebook feed that showed deeply discounted Hydro Flasks. My daughter had been wanting an ombre Hydro Flask, and these were listed for $29.99, so I purchased one. Then I noticed I was charged over $39 dollars (well over what was advertised) plus a "foreign currency exchange fee" was charged to my account. Once I received the tracking information, which said allow 10-20 days for delivery, I tracked the package and found it was being shipped from China. Over 3 weeks later, I received the "hydro flask". It was a total counterfeit. The font is different, the bottom looks different, it gets cold on the outside, and ice melts immediately.

I Googled Hydro Flask as I was interested in possibly purchasing a Hydro Flask wine tumbler, and clicked on one of the first results from my search https://hydroflaskbottles.store. The graphics/photos seemed legit and they were advertising a sale on the products. Also, in about us the company was described as being in Bend, Oregon, etc.

I went ahead and placed an order using Pay Pal as my payment method and was immediately alarmed when I received an order confirmation from Jinfa .LLC (China) with the contact email [email protected]. I sent an email to [email protected] asking for the order to be cancelled but received no reply. I also contacted Pay Pal to report a fraudulent transaction but they have investigated and reported back that there was no fraud, probably because I placed the order under my own free will. I have yet to receive any further communication or any product from Jinfa .LLC but I am sure it will be counterfeit merchandise. I also contacted Hydro Flask (Hydroflask.com) and received a very nice reply explaining that they are dealing with many counterfeiters and their legal team is working diligently to try and shut them down.

I didn't know what else to do to cancel the order or recover my payment so I guess I'm out the $27.96 and grateful it wasn't worse. This has been a very humbling experience because I know better. After looking closer at the hydroflaskbottles.store site it is obvious that it isn't legit - many misspellings, incorrect grammar, etc. It's a shame that the counterfeiters don't do something more constructive with their time and energy.
