Type of a scam Counterfeit Product
After only 1 of 10 items came and the $21 flask/mug arrived damaged from China (legit products are made in China) found phone online that turned out was to legit hydroflask company and informed this was counterfeit and my purchase was from a copycat/scam website who baits by offering deeply discounted hydroflask items legit company would not offer. As of 6/3/18 still not received other 9 items.
This item did not have a serial number they have and said some scammers are using bogus serial numbers. Hydroflask would not replace the mug and said trying to shut down these bogus sites. Said my email referenced email address and website that is not theirs.
Looked at my online capitalIne credit card statement for the charge and company n phone to call but saw PayPal used and a co never heard of called Reinlan.
Tried PayPal automated system but was not sebt to a person so I called cap1 to dispute this fraudujabt company’s Charge and told they would handle. Also Cap1 said would PayPal so no need to contact PayPal, but today learned they made the case against PayPal and not the company who created the bogus transaction.
Cap1 insists on PayPal being responsible instead of the company who made the charge bc sounds like Onky way to get their $ back.
I had called Cap1 to report the fraudulent company because that is who started this Byt they never wanted my email receipt and sounds like went thru PayPal. PayPal was not my complaint and if they want to separately go after PayPal... that’s cap1’s prerogative but not my complaint.
Cap1 never called hydroflask nor looked online nor put in notes hydroflaskcoffee.com n the [email protected] email.
today I told Cap1 I see bbb has the bogus site n info I told them aboyt (i orig told Cap1 about news station story online from oregan.
ScamPulse.com site stamps Austin on ScamPulse.com i found googling stories or reports fraudulent hydroflaskcoffee.com n the [email protected] while on phone with Cap1.
Plenty of info at Cap1 fingertip plus reported to hydroflask but site still up. nearly month after reporting to Cap1 n Hydroflask.
I called Cap1 to check & now given an email by Cap1 n told to provide this stuff n the email I told them I had.
I just want my $ back n this is a lot of wasted energy n time for me. I don’t want in middle of them n PayPal when was anoyt fraudulent/scam company. Nor Cap1 say won’t reimburse because charge thru PayPal n PayPal not cooperate. This was about bogus company n bogus charge I said to not do to PayPal.
