The scammer owns vending machines where you swipe your card for $5 to get a chance to win a prize. We were targeted at Northgate Mall in San Rafael. Our card was actually charged $25 per swipe. We attempted 5 tries, thinking we spent $25 total but we were charged $25 each swipe. This has been reported by other people in other malls, states, etc.
