Free Airpods
I received a pop up on my phone in December...I looked at it and decided to try the earbuds for 6.96 shipping, no charge. It was hidden in a email from a hardware store, whom I trust.
I NEVER ordered a smart watch. So 2 full months later I received a call stating I owned around 300.00 for the products.
I had NEVERf received an email in regards to the terms or conditions, NOR were they legible on the date I decided the earbuds would be nice to have.
I have had 3 conversations with Hannah, who states it is in the escalation process. Even at 60% discount that is unacceptable for something that stated free except shipping charges.
I have offered to returnedthe merchandise that has never been opened or used, but they refuse to even give me an address, stating I must pay in order to close the acct.
I am asking someone in customer service to please assist me, as I cannot afford to pay for something that I didn't order,, nor will I use at this point.
Also, I will be sending this to the BBB for a complaint, as well as reviews about this on the company website if I do not have this resolved within 24 hours.
The products were shipped on Dec. 14, 2021 for a charge of 6.96.
DO NOT trust any offers from the company, HYPE as it is just that,
a SCAM.
Now I am just hoping that this goes away as I have offered in good faith to try and resolve this matter.

Health survey
Asking to fill out a health survey and I will receive a smartwatch for $6.99 and an airpod for an additional $6.99. I did not ask for the air pod. I received both in the mail after completing the survey. I was just contacted by a lady who said she was from Hype and said I did not cancel my subscription within 15 days so now I owe $119 for the smart watch and $119 for the airpods. There was no mention of a subscription at all. They threatened to call the credit bureau if do not pay my outstanding balance of $119 each (which they offered to lower by 40%). I am contacting the credit bureau because I feel this is a scam.
