I got a message through Facebook Messenger. I thought it was my friend. A scammer hacked her account. She said she received a check for $35,000 she does not have to pay back. To pay bills or transportation. Whatever she needed.From IMF Grant. I also received a text message. I texted her back and asked her to call me. I checked and she did not have any activity on her Facebook account since December. I realized it was not my friend that had contacted me. They did not ask for money. The text messages are from Christine Lagarde Director of IMF Fund phone number 301-539-2688. She did not give me an address. She offered me a grant. Did not give the amount. She requested a lot of personal information. I did not respond to her texts. I am reporting this scam.
