Was approached by scammer via text for a personal assistant position. I was instructed that I was being sent a check from an interior design client and I was to deposit it - once it cleared buy certain items from Amazon and ship it to the client, as well as a Zelle money transfer that was included in the checks total. Once I did so, and the packages were out for delivery. The check was refunded to sender. I contacted my employer for reimbursement and was ghosted.
