I wanted to apply online for TSA Precheck so I entered those words for my search. The first result said TSA Precheck and I clicked on it. The main part of the page had two big buttons, one for new applications and one for renewals. I just clicked on the new application button and then it started asking me info. It asked for name, former names, criminal history, date and place of birth and current address. I am embarrassed that I put it all in as I am usually very careful but for some reason I didn't focus this time. After I submitted the application, I got a notice from my credit card of a charge from "WEB INFO SOLUCOES E INFORMACOES EM PO" in Brazil, which is what tipped me off. I immediately called the credit card company and they canceled the card and issued a new one, but I can't get the data back.

I was looking to apply for tsa pre check and added all my information and paid a fee to find out it wasn't a government website

This was the first site that popped up when I searched "global entry". They ask for the same information as the real global entry website. The fee was $260 (not $100). The customer service email seems responsive but nonetheless, very suspicious.

I am feeling so deeply [censored]ic. I wanted to renew my global entry and I clicked on the first link. I have given them all my information. What do I do? How do I fix this immediately? I don't know what to do! Help. It looked so official and I just kept going and somehow realized at the very end. Is there a way to fix this quickly???
