Total money lost $70
Type of a scam Online Purchase
This is a service to send inmate (loved ones) goods in jail/prison. It runs about 1/2 the price of commissary. I paid $60.00 and my boyfriend was so excited for the delivery, he didn't order regular commissary that week because this package coming. I just kept getting email stating I didn't pay. Which I did I even gave the delivery driver $10.00 tip, so $70.00 total. 5 days later I figured it out by calling the real companies phone # and they we're aware and empathetic to my circumstances. Some jails/prisons are not included on the real companies delivery service, or you have to sign up for quarterly delivery service. My boyfriend was only in for 80 days, (not only, but not long enough for service) so then I searched lower on internet search and fake company is listed #6 on my search engine, so I can just imagine how wealthy this company is getting. Thank goodness I could put in claim with bank, still pending investigation. But my boyfriend lost weight that week, felt like 2 weeks to him, he can't eat the food they serve much so he relies on my contributions, that's how people make it through a hard times, knowing someone cares and loves them enough to make sure they have food and health care products. Once i emailed company telling them they were a scam and how do they sleep at night or look themselves in the mirror and karma will come 10 fold to them. I haven't heard from them since. But still listed in search engine, what does it take to get these things removed to stop stealing from innocent caring people? I also suffer from disabilities from two severe traumatic brain injuries, so when I'm dealing with emotions and decisions I have a hard time processing them, and make wrong decisions, such as not investigating this company thoroughly, and I feel so naïve but I wanted to post this so others realize, we're only human and it's not our fault for being trustworthy, it's not our fault for bad apples, although we all seem to pay the price to them!!!! Especially when people are already down and out, I'm sure that's exactly why these scammers target people like myself, we're easy victims, sad missing our loved ones and doing our best to make sure they come home to us in one piece!!!
also used email address: inmatecarepackages.zendesk.com and texted me from: 561 556 9275 asking for payment but never responded, text was to give link to make payment and check order status link and link to their help center.
