They called and told me about a case of identity theft where someone committed fraud under my name. They directed me to the ice.gov website and to an office/officer in Arizona listed on the website or something like that.

I got a phone call from a woman who identified herself as an ICE officer name Dyna Scott, badge ID ICE507. She claimed she contacted me because of a violation I made due to a missing alien registration number on my I-94 which can result in having me arrested or deported. She said they were conducting an investigation to determine if I am innocent. She navigated me to the ice.gov website to verify the phone number she used to call me to gain my trust that she was with ICE. During the phone call, she informed me that during the investigation I should not receive or make any calls from my cellphone. However, there were several calls from a number looks identical to my local Police department. When I was allowed to pick up the phone call, another person identified himself as David Samuel, a police officer from my local police department badge ID APD0817. He told me he have a court order to arrest me due to the same immigration violation. They asked for my information like name, date of birth, occupation, and amount of money I have in bank accounts. Then, they said a background check will be conducted, and in the meantime, I would be detained by local Police department. They told me if I didn't want to be arrested, I could choose to pay an immigrant bond instead. I hung up and call the police department number and ICE office to confirm the identity of the officers.
