I was detained in Keflavik because my boarding pass was marked SSSS (I still have no idea why) which meant additional security check. I was separated from my son and husband and taken to an isolated part of the airport. I was detained so long by airport security that Iceland Air left me in Reykjavik. My family stayed behind. Getting home to the U.S. cost us an additional $3000.00. Neither Iceland Air nor Keflavik airport will respond to claims. NEVER EVER go to Iceland.
