Date of transaction December 29,23-$2386.20. Round trip..first class to Iceland from Newark, NJ airport. I paid the entire fee. $2070.20 was for my first class seat alone. $316 for a Cancellation fee. case number is #********. March 8,2024 returning March 14,2024 I was flying with 3 other nieces also seated in first class. As of February 8th, 2024. I sent a medical letter from my doctors ( after contacting them prior that I could NOT FLY for medical reasons) And advised I was unable to travel until my medical situation was taken care of. ( which I had to resend 2 times. KEEP During this time. We have been going back and forth with my bank with charge backs in the Amt of my $2070 and then they take it back. They at 1 time said they would return. My money but not the cancellation fee if I paid them $650 first. Are you serious! Now they are refusing to return my money unless my TD Bank gives them a letter we Myself or Icelandair will not do another chargeback. I assured them after speaking with my bank I would not pursue any charge back to get the $ owed to me. And they won’t except that. My bank has said to contact you because they have no control of charge backs between business and persons has nothing to do with them? Last straw they suggested I contact you… I have all the emails and letters etc! To prove that they are stealing from me…. This is so wrong . Why did I pay for cancellation etc! Give all pertinent medical Documents and still they are refusing to refund my hard earned monies at 69 years old just 70. Please help me to recover my loss. It’s so wrong what they are doing …I did everything by the books. My family All still went without me and it was planned because of my 70th Birthday…..please my bank and I have ALL pertinent info which has been going on for almost a year!
