The message was sent to my email regarding my brother's iCloud account. The offer was for 50 GB for a free upgrade. In the spirit of being nice, I decided to get it for him as he'd mentioned he needed to take photos off his phone. The free upgrade was going to cost $2. I made arrangements to pay it, and immediately I got a scam alert from my bank asking if I'd used my debit card to pay $14.89 to FUNCTIONALWORKSP. I went to my bank, made arrangements to cover legitimate debits to my card and got a new card. The charge was reversed back into my account, taking 1 - 3 business days.
