I feel foolish that I have put up with this dissapointing service for as long as I have. I keep hoping the book manuscript will eventually meet my expectations so it can get published. I started with them before the Pandemic and I'm still waiting. Every month or so, they incorporate some of my revisions but they revert to using earlier manuscript versions or continue to miss important edits, formatting, punctuation, spellings, etc. They even inserted content from another client's book! They use very sneaky delay tactics. I thought using a ghostwriter would assure a professional first book product. Boy, was I wrong. This has been a most frustrating experience. I still don't know what year my book will get published. I doubt I would get a refund if I asked for it. I paid several thousands of dollars including the high pressure marketing service that has turned out to be a waste of money. I want the book I wrote that that memorializes my family, community and ancestors. The sad thing is several main people in my book were looking forward to reading it. They have passed during the three years I have been working with Iconic. That hurts the most but they don't get it.

I had high hopes that the services they would be providing would be a positive experience. I was looking forward to the professionalism and expertise that they promised. Unfortunately, that was a big mistake.
There seems to be no pride in what they come up with, and I would be embarrassed to publish what they write. I have trouble just reading some of the edits I get back. The sentences don't make sense and have contradictions everywhere in the story.
My experience is that the writers are not from the United States. Their command of the USA English language is not consistent with how we say things. Don't be fooled by the Texas area code on their phone calls; and they are not in Texas. Please pay attention to the way they date their communications. They use day/month/year, not the month/day/year that we use here. Most everyone I have heard from is in India.
Most of what they listed as to how they approached a project never happened. Including the claim is that Iconic Ghostwriters can offer a quick turnaround of one week for a chapter, but my experience has been that it takes months to get something back. Then I found that I spent way more fixing their edits than I expected.
As stated in their contract, I have asked for a refund, "100% money-back-guarantee." They wanted one more chance, and I gave them three more chances. Nothing changed except that each time they gave me a new team leader. I have now had six of them. The last one said she agreed that what I had received was poor in quality but that she would take care of everything from now on, and I could trust her.
I asked how long she had been working for Iconic Ghostwriters out of curiosity. She answered for a while. Then asking how long is a while, and her response was, less than a month. I have been now attempting to get my refund now for five months.
I went back to their site also to leave a review there. However, there are no links for their clients to leave uncensored review.
There are good ghostwriters out there. Do your research.

I paid for services I never receive this company is a scam.

I notice it was a couple of other people who also, have the same issue with them. I would agree I think they are scammers.
