ID shield refused to provide services that their own website claims to offer at the expense of monthly payments for the last 4 to 5 years. I was recently hacked by a hacker, who took over my Facebook account. I contacted ID shield three times over the phone and each time they told me that they do not assist in such matters even though their website claims a “service guarantee” to restore identity of social media account take overs if there is evidence of identity fraud (which there is. I made a police report. A report with Venmo and Citibank as the hacker hacked all of my accounts and stole money).

ID shield’s website advertises a service that their employees are refusing to provide, which is felony theft under false pretenses and a violation of criminal law. The statute states: “defrauding someone of money or property by way of false promises or representations.” I have been paying ID shield for years to protect my identity and upon being hacked they refuse to do what their own website advertises as a service. Attached is a picture of their website and a “service guarantee” they would restore my identity, which they refused to do on multiple occasions. I have an audio recording of my conversation with the manager in which I confront her regarding what the website guarantees conflicting with her refusing to help restore my identity. I then advise her that this meets the criteria of felony theft under false pretenses and she said she’d have a higher up contact me and that there was nothing she could do to help me. No one has contacted me. The audio recording is pretty good and any judge would side with me based on the evidence. Thank you for your time and I hope you can help me.
