Chad has his condo Grand Panama 1-903 listed on HomeAway. I booked this condo for April 2020 on March 7th, 2020. Received automated email from what appeared to be from Chad that confirmed booking and the next steps would be for me to receive further travel details, how to check in, access to the condo, directions, etc, two weeks prior to our departure date. Due to the Coronavirus Pandemic I had attempted to contact him to discuss cancellation options to either get refunded or move the dates to later when the restrictions are lifted. I had emailed, called, left voicemails and text messages and he never responded. I reached out to the website HomeAway where they are investigating and trying to also contact him with no success. I voiced my concern to HomeAway that had I not wanted to change my dates or cancel my family would have never received the itinerary anyway on how to gain access to the condo. I feel as though I have been conned out of my money and he had no intention of every providing me with the product\service that I had paid for. We go to Florida twice per year and have booked with many lovely owners and I have never encountered such unprofessionalism and unwillingness to communicate. It is hard for vacationers to know the type of person you book from and you trust that your getting fairly treated when you book through 3rd party but he certainly through that out the window. I hope that they remove and ban him from listing on their site and that this doesn’t happen to other families in the future. Please do not rent anything with his name on it. He is a fraud and will take your money
