[email protected] was the email used. They first sent an email and said they would need to contact me via Microsoft Teams. So i gave them my email address connected to Teams and they found me. They said there would be a thorough interview process done through Teams and they carried out that process. They said i would hear something back in a few days if i got the job. I was reapproached after a couple days and said an offer letter was sent to my email address. I never received anything and had to provide an additional email to receive it. I did and was asked to submit to a background check submitting my address and a copy of my drivers license to proceed. Alot of information was divulged about the job, what it would entail, pay, how things worked, etc. The whole time i was told since this was a remote position they would provide the equipment. It wasn't until i provided my address, (which i thought would be used for mailing the equipment) that the man named Andrew Diefenderfer from the HR Office of IDEMIA USA said that i would receive a check and bonus of $150 to buy my own equipment with this money from their vendors and thats when i was able to recognize the scam. Everything up until this point seemed very legitimate and professional. I told him this was not what we discussed and that i would not buy anything on my own. At this point he logged out of teams and ceased all communication.
