Caller stated they were with ******** ***** and someone tried to open a ***** ******* credit card in Asheville NC. Gave me a case ID # then passed me off to "consumer federal protection bureau" CFPB. They gave me an incorrect SSN with the correct last 4. (Like they wanted me to correct them and give up my actual SSN.)
