I came across an ad on tiktok for workout clothes that were on sale so i bought 3 pairs of leggings and a pair of shorts. I got two pairs of leggings in the mail looking nothing like what I ordered and nothing else. It was in the sketchiest black packaging i’ve ever seen in my life and it just says the fake address on the package and my name.

I saw an ad on Instagram for sandals which were advertised as fashionably orthopedic and adjustable. They looked great in ad. I ordered two pair and paid with PayPal account assuming the purchase would be secure. The sandals arrived a month later, no box, just mashed together inside black plastic with a sketchy label and return address. The charge showed up on PayPal account as a totally different company. The shoes were nothing like the picture in the ad. They were not adjustable and fell off my feet, which are wide to begin with. I contacted PayPal to inquire how to return as there was no invoice or any identifying information inside "package" with sandals. I was able to get an email address and sent a message immediately to seek information on returning sandals for refund. They never responded. I filed through the PayPal Resolution Center. I finally got a response from PayPal with instructions to return the shoes to an address in SINGAPORE, though the shoes came from a different named company in Jamaica, NY. I would have to pay $156.00 to return two pair of shoes that I paid $57.00 for in order to receive a refund. I immediately challenged that, sending pictures of the shipping label that CLEARLY shows a totally different company name at a Jamaica, NY address. When I researched both companies, there was a TON of SCAM complaints and reports online for these companies. This was a bait and switch SCAM where they sell and ship from a US address then if someone wants a refund, they claim the company is in Singapore knowing that to return the items would cost three times what you paid for them so that you just accept the loss and quietly go away. I was not one of those people! I put PayPal on the line as they were complicit in the scam once they had been made aware if they did not take action. PayPal granted me a voucher for the amount I paid for the shoes and vowed to take action against both companies. I vowed to file complaints with every governmental agency at my disposal so these SCAMMERS get shut down. The other company name involved in this scam was TINKZ PTE. LTD. at 10 Anson Road #10-06 International Plaza, 079903 SG (Singapore).

Ordered two espresso coffee makers from company listed as CIOS on FB on 1/6/2021. Did not receive any products from company until 2/27/2021 in spite of contacting the company which who communicate under [email protected] via email.shoplazza.com. On same email, another email sender is listed as : Svpine.Store. Given reasons for the delay was issues having to do with shipping. On 2/27/2021, I received two small spoons in an envelope from a company listed as IDEX, 14709 182nd Street, Springfield Gardens, NY 11413. When I contacted the contact person Chloe at [email protected], I was told that the ordered items had been delivered. I have not received the two ordered espresso makers. The label of the company had been glued over a Chinese shipping label. This was not a mistake, when I checked out the company and address, I ran into lots of similar stories about being scammed this way.

I initially intended on purchasing a side table with phone charging capabilities as advertised. I ended up receiving a $5 wristwatch. I would not advise ordering anything from IDEX.

I I ordered a folding work table through an ad on facebook 2-3 months ago.

I assumed it was not going to be delivered since I had heard nothing.

Today I recd a cheap and ugly wrist watch via US mail.

No cover letter, packing slip, etc.

I looked up the return address (Idex 14709 182nd St Springfield Gardens NY) and the second item on Google search was ScamPulse.com complaints. There is a complaint with identical details to mine above, as well as others, with orders for different products, where the buyer recd a watch.

This is not incompetence or an honest mistake.

I assume they send the $2 watch to give them plausible deniability should anyone try to pursue them legally.

Someone went to a lot of trouble to beat me out of 29 bucks. Please beware.

I just received a wristwatch in the mail from IDEX. I have never heard of this company, nor did I ever order a wristwatch from them.

- Rockford, IL, USA

Brushing scam. Received two watches that I never ordered. They were addressed to me. None of my credit cards or electronic payment systems were charged for these items.

- Calumet City, IL, USA

I , too, had this same experience in 2020. “ This company advertised on facebook a special for $29.99 for three animated pumpkins with different facial expressions and multiple sounds. Based on the picture included in the ad, these were implied to be larger, multi phrase and different faces on each pumpkin. We received our order today and they are 4 inches by 4 inches hard plastic pumpkins with the same expression, only light up via battery and have the same laughing sound in all three. There is no animation. I checked their website this afternoon and the company is now charging $59.99 for the same item. “

Then, today 1/28/2021, I received a rose gold MREURIO watch in the mail. No bill, no invoice, nothing but the return address on the packaging.

I did not order this watch and as far as I can tell I have not been charged, but I want to make sure that if a charge does arise that I am covered having reported this incident.

Received a watch today I did not order . The return address is from a company I do not know. Addressed to my nickname.

i was sent a unsolicited gift in USPS

a MREURIO wrist watch

I received a package from IDEX in Carson, California. I did not order this, and when I called both 310 635 0717 and +1 (847) 498-7070 to let them know that I did not order, the first phone number is no longer in service, and the second number goes to voicemail. I understand brushing is a scam. I had to close my Amazon account because someone was doing the same this during the summer.

claimed that I bought a computer in 2017, which I did not and stated that. they hung up after I said I did not have a computer.
