I was contacted in my DMs by a James Bernard Smith, French bulldog breeder, and he said his puppies are $1200 each. He said for me to get a dog shipped I had to rush money to pay him to get the dog. I Zelle money to a name: Ian Obare? for $1200. James sent a tracking number and said puppy would arrive May1 Saturday. The dog was never delivered and shipping company, Express Pet Shipping then emailed me said I owed them money for an electronic crate for refundable $1500, so I sent them American Express gift cards totaling $1500. Then shipping company said I owed them $2500 for puppy insurance. I said I didn’t have the money for the extra charges and I asked James/seller to cancel puppy transaction. James said he would refund my money by May 6, but no money and he disconnected his phone and blocked me from his IG Acct:james_bernard_smith. Today is May 7 and shipping company is still texting me to pay the insurance $2500 but the seller has stopped communicating with me. Shipping company ph#609-975-5093 (Medford, NJ) is still trying to get me to send money or they will charge me with “abandonment of dog”. I was scammed $1200 plus the $1500. Hopefully this will help others to not do business with this James Bernard Smith.
