Applied to a job posting on Indeed. Received an email setting up a time for an interview/over view of the job from Lauren "Lala" Irizarry. Spoke with Jennifer Green via telephone call at phone number (214) 866-8507. She discussed the company and job. Sent over the links of website and youtube posting about the company. Stated the job was for online personal training and nutrition coaching. That they work with the employee wellness programs for people in the school district in the surrounding areas of Houston or Dallas (cant remember which one). The role would be listed as a "provider" and is commission based. As the provider you were to pay the $200 fee to complete the back ground check and the back ground check is annual with an annual charge. I completed the process via paypal and immediately cancelled the annual subscription they "required". They sent me the links for onboarding zoom calls. I attended a few onboarding calls, in which i felt the information was suspicious as it sounded like the "CEO" Ben, just spoke in circles and about nothing really important or related to the job. I eventually stopped showing up for these trainings. I was still attached the email listings. I started to get emails from other providers stating they feel this company is a scam and sharing their experience. I responded back to the providers and received some notification messages stating the email wasn't delivered to certain email addresses, all the addresses ended in iiivivfitness.com. I'm concerned because not just myself but over 40 other people are on that email chain and they were all scammed as well. But we all also provided our SS on the background check along with a picture of our drivers license. Basically all the information an employer would need. I'm not sure what to do from here.
