I received a call on my cell from Ricky Ramirez of Illinois One (roofing). He had my husbands name and our home address. We have been looking for a roofer so I did not initially think there was concern. I set up an appointment for this company to provide an estimate. Since that call, I have tried to call them back to the number on my caller ID (630-232-3518) as well as the number Ricky provided me (888-232-9092). Neither number worked. I intend to call my non-emergency number to advise of scamming.

Keep getting calls from “Illinois one” claiming they’re a roof repair company. Comes from all different phone numbers that when I call back say disconnected.

They called from a Wisconsin number that I assume is spoofed, because while I live in Illinois I have a Wisconsin number and they called with one matching my area code. They knew my name and the street that I live on and said they would be “in the area” tomorrow giving “free roofing inspections” after the bad storm we had last night.
