I had recently traveled in Chicago. I received a text 2 weeks later stating I owed for missed tolls from the “Illinois Tollway”. They had my license plate and exact dates I traveled. I thought maybe my ipass had a problem. Looked 100% legit and I paid it right away because that’s what I do. The next day I see an article about the scam and canceled my credit card. They later sent me an email stating the credit card company declined payment.
