I got a call about a job. I was told I needed a Google hangout account. After telling me about the company and what I was going to do . I was asked what bank I use then I was told that there would be a check sent to me so I could buy my work materials. That's when I thought this was a scam. I wanted to report this company to protect the naive .

I was contacted first by Olivia Walter on Feb. 17, 2018 by email saying that they have reviewed my resume on indeed.com and offered me a job. $40.00 hour. She said we needed to complete a hangout interview. I completed the interview and was offered the job. I asked if this was commission or do they take out taxes. She said they take out state but not federal. She then informed me that they were sending me a check to purchase the working materials. I was then instructed to deposit the check and she would let me know what to do. I received the ck and deposited it. She then directed me to go to Walmart to purchase the working materials she gave me a list of the items I will need. Instead I was directed to send a money gram for $1400.00 to Constance Williams in Laurel, MS 39443. I then left Walmart and then she told me since it wasn't enough for all of the materials, she directed me to go to another Walmart and do it again. this one didn't go through so she had me to a Western Union and send $1300.00 to Brandon C Jones Darby, PA 19082
