I was contacted on messenger from a friend, suggesting that I apply for an IMF relief fund Gov grant. My friend told me to contact Betty via the number 321-926-5333 via text. I looked at the IMF relief fund website and it said applications closed until NOV 2020. However this Betty person assured me that she was good friends with my friend and would help me apply via text message. She even provided an email when I asked. Turns out my friend's account was hacked and her profile was being used by someone else who contacted me pretending to be her. My real friend had no idea. This Betty person asked for my name, addres, phone number, income and job title, age and $200 after approving the grant for $30,000. Betty said I needed to pay for an official gov stamp on the certificate for when the check was delivered and not to tell anyone for my safety. They also wanted my credit card or debit info for the transaction.
