The notice indicated they had information from my mothers previous immigration card renewal and she
needed to renew before her card expired.
I thought it was the US immigration contacting me and I completed the forms and sent in the money requested. I was lead to believe this was the entire fee for renewal and the entire process to complete the renewal. Instead I received a hard copy of the forms I had completed on line and was directed to sign and mail them to USCIS with an additional $540.00.
I strongly believe that they mislead me and likely many others with this scam. I could easily have completed and mailed in these forms by myself. Paying $285 is ridiculous.
