Impact PC Support Scam

I had trouble with Sling TV. During a Chat, Sling referred me to tech support - Jerry at Impact PC Support - vie telephone. (844-292-9526) Takting control of my computer, he said there were many problems. I had malware in my computer, TV, and network - basically anything connected to my network. He said he could repair it. There were nine devices infected at $50 per device. I told him to go ahead. I saw various graphics on the screen, as if he was doing something. After half an hour or more, he said he was done, and my system would work fine. I paid the $449.99. When I checked the TV and computer, there was no improvement at all. I spent the rest of the day working on it myself, and by evening, everything was working fine.

I googled Epson printer customer support and came up with a fraudulent website http://www.printer-techsupport.com. I called their number and they transferred me to their "CISCO" specialist ("Jerry" at Impact PC Support). He said he had to access my computer. He said he needed to remove viruses. He claimed to have done so and charged me $459 for service plus lifetime support. He watched me enter my cc info. The following day I realized it was a scam, because genuine Epson support never refers to a "network specialist" and never asks to access my computer.
