Looking for an Australian shepherd puppy, came across a website that seemed promising. The puppies being sold came with promises that there is a money back guarantee if it is not up to the satisfaction and health warranty. Testimonials were available online from previous purchasers. The buyer seemed confident in all the information that was available online. Then proceeded to inquire about purchasing a puppy. The seller asked many questions and that reassured the buyer that it was reliable. Communication was done through email. Phone numbers were exchanged but no communication was done through telephone. It was agreed upon to pay the full amount in order to have the puppy shipped by airplane as soon as possible. The seller assured the buyer that they will be updated every step of the way. The following day the buyer tries multiple attempts at email and calling the phone number with no success. The next day the seller emails the buyer in the morning and informs that everything is set and the puppy would be shipped later that day. The buyer receives an email from the shipping company and was informed that the shipment was on hold. The buyer contacts the company and they inform that a different crate must be purchased and will cost an additional $950 for cheapest crate. The buyer contacts the seller and informs them that they were not expecting this additional charge and are unable to afford it and would like a refund. Seller agrees to refunding but said they would contact the buyer in 30 days. The buyer asks why it cannot be returned the same method that it was purchased with and is sent within minutes. The seller proceeded to say that they used part of the money for paperwork and to be patient and that the buyer will get all their money back. The buyer is hesitant due to there being 2 different addresses and 2 different phone numbers. The buyer proceeds to look up both addresses and affiliated with one of the addresses and phone is another company “Marvel Aussies” that received a complaint within the past few months.
