Based on the phone number found on the fraudulent charge on my credit card an internet search shows this phone number, provided above, to be located in Utah and be owned by Avalon Bay Communities. The charge made to my credit card, however, lists Modera Hall Street and shows Florida as the domicile though the 801 area code is in Utah. If the above number is called it identified the purpose of the business as making payments to others based on a credit card charge. But it informs the caller that for any problems with a payment you must call the person to whom payment was made. Then it hangs up. Clearly, if one's credit card was used fraudulently, the victim would not know to whom the payment was made.

So, consider:

1) The business provides a number on the credit card which is of no use to resolve fraud

2) It provides a state which does not match with the area code.

3) It allows payments to be made without properly identifying the person using the facility is the credit card holder.

I submit this enables fraud and this business should be held responsible.
