I was offered an online remote job for The Cassillon Group, Inc. to be the CEO's personal assistant. I started the job on Tuesday of this week (2/7/23) and I was asked to deposit three checks of $2450.00 into my personal bank account to make payments for the company on their behalf. I woke up this morning, 2/10/23, to find that my bank has closed my account due to fraudulent/counterfeit checks that I had deposited. My personal money in the account is now gone and it is sitting at over -$1800. I have now had to open a new checking account with a new bank and all accounts that were link to that the closed account, I now have to submit new banking information.
