We were contacted thru text message. Scammer portrayed to be interested in our services. They signed our purchase order & overnighted a fake cashiers check with additional funds or monies that they requested we transfer to them via phone app (cashapp, venmo, etc.) We denied their request and informed that we could only issue a return cashiers check with a signed W9, which they requested we overnight to them. We stopped all communication and did not mail anything. However, we did make the mistake of forwarding them a picture of the checks which they are now falsifying and issuing to different states within the US.
