A person identifying themselves as Investigator Sharon Smith claimed there was a case filed against me for nonpayment of a payday loan. These company also contacted my mom and brother making the same claim. They had the last 4 of my social but no other details. I know I haven't taken out any loans, I checked my credit report and there are no claims, so I know this to be a scam. I was told the owner of the company is Randall Patterson but they wouldn't give me any information on the business registration.

They contacted a friend and pretended that I was on hold and wanted to speak with him directly. Then placed him on hold saying they we're connecting him to me and then some lady got on the line and attempted to ask for money saying it was to pay off a loan that I know nothing about.

I was called by an unknown number which showed as potential spam. The lady said my wife needed to contact attorney Michael Harris regarding court docket number 3521093 for Pasco county ,FL. They said they tried to serve papers at our previous address and that we needed to call him at 866-350-0392 to avoid a failure to appear. Looked up the docket number, and of course it didn't appear. I then checked the ScamPulse.com site and keyword searched Michael Harris and found its happened to others.

I had a family member contact me because this company contacted them. They alleged that in 2014 I took out a payday advance and did not pay it back and so I’m getting threatened with having a warrant out for my arrest if I did not pay $196 today they would not be able to stop the Court action. When I looked up the company, EZ Corp there is not any in the state of Florida where I live. So this has been nothing but a scam.
