Received a call from someone who said they were from DirectTV. I was offered DirectTV $62.50 for 2 years with all premium channels and new equipment if I paid the 1st four months upfront with Amazon Gift card. I was receiving this offer because I am a current DirectTV customer with a bill over $80/month. They said DirectTV was offering the promotion due to recent complaints from customers. They said they did not need any financial information from me but that I needed to call the number below after I purchased a $250 Amazon gift card to pay the 1st 4 months. They provided a prom code saying I needed to provide when I called the # below to confirm I was eligible for the promotion.
