They emailed me for a job offer that I did apply to on Linkdin for a remote data entry clerk position. The entire time I was speaking with Erica Downs through emails. We set up an interview time & date where they had me download an app called “Ring Central”. She then sent me a link on “Jot form” for a questionnaire. Pretty typical questions. Then asked what bank I have for a dumb reason. I didn’t answer that question I put n/a. Then the time of my interview I messaged her & she told me to fill out the Jot Form, that was my interview questionnaire. I told her I already did. She said she would get back to me within 24-48 to see if I got the position. Mind you, I still not have physically spoken to someone or had any video meeting with anyone. The next day they sent me a form to sign through a PDF about their rules & regulations for the job & the training process. Simple enough. Still not personal information. Then after, I send the signed form, she congratulated me on my successful hire to the team. Then continued to ask for my address, city, state, etc & an interview code which I never received. I then decided to call the number to speak directly with Erica Downs. Called multiple times to which it went to voicemail or they answered & hung up. I decided to look up the address of this location through maps & call other businesses in that area & asked if they have a “Avalon Healthcare Solutions” building next to them because they’re supposed to be. & they said no there isn’t. So that let me know that it’s fake. So I messaged Erica Downs on Ring Central & said if she can call me or have a video call with me through the app before giving personal information out. & they never responded again. BE CAREFUL. If you don’t talk to someone over the phone or in a video call assume it’s a scam. Don’t give your personal information out especially which bank you use! They don’t need to know that especially before getting hired. Please be careful. Always go with your gut.

Received email Novocure Inc. that my resume on Career Builder has successfully passed our initial screening for Data Entry Clerk, Remote Customer Service Representative and Administrative Assistant roles. Interview Details: Team or Zoom with a verification code and HR operations Manager: Mrs. Ashley Manzo. I researched the company and found Ashley Manzo on LinkedIn. I went through with a Teams interview. It was very detailed with questions and answers. No personal information was provided other than name. After a couple of hours of the interview process I was informed I received the job and an offer letter would be mailed and to provide the preferred email. The next morning to report back to HR on Teams at 8am. I received the letter and the FW4. It seems legit and filled out/signed and returned. Logged on to TEAMS. Went through with a couple more Q&A's and will be provided a check to purchase their computer, printer, time tracker, headset, and shredder. Went back and forth regarding the check sent via email or check mailed. I wanted the check mailed and provided address. Ashley Manzo checked in the next day and provided the tracking number and asked that I keep her informed when I had it to move to the next step. The check was mailed by UPS and my husband looked at it. It was cut from a Sharratt Construction Inc. 171 Saxony Rd. Suite 206 Encinitas, CA 92024 for $9720.00. There was no mention of Novocure. Did not add up. Ashley TEAMS stating she knows the check has been delivered. I looked up on ScamPulse.com and saw the exact thing happen to someone else with Ashley Manzo. I am not depositing the check. They do have a picture of me, my address, and tax forms. I do have LifeLock and will be reviewing all my credit after this.

They hiring me for a remote job as a data entry clert for a company called niche builders group. It business Niche builders is definitely a real legit company but i called the company to see if the person ive been talking too works there and comes to find out they dont. They sent me a check through email to deposit to my bank and once it deposited, they were having me send the money over to “vendors” and my bank wasn’t accepting the zelle transfer so they asked me to purchase gifts cards to send to the “vendors” which is where i got the red flag from and called the company and found out they have been getting calls about the same scam

Texted me about a job. I assumed they seen my resume on indeed, monster or careerbuilder. I asked for an email about the job. I got an "approved interview email". The email required me to download the wire app to speak with a hiring manager. I followed the instructions. I texted with a Steven Loupe who eventually asked me for my preferred mailing address along with information that is on my resume (red flag). After giving the same info on my resume, I waited...he did not immediately come back so I disconnected. I immediately received an "Offer Letter" which included asking me for my SSN (Another RED FLAG) and a "Direct Deposit" form; which I was not going to fill out. Why would I receive an offer letter and dd form without filling out an application? Furthermore, there are no contact numbers in any of this correspondence. The only contact number was from this Veronica Steven and it was located in PA. This within itself is not a red flag however, the way she finally answered the phone was a BIG RED FLAG. Finally, the offer letter's letterhead was obviously not valid...the letterhead was a snippet and a paste into a word document that was letter formatted as a PDF. The "C" in Crux was cut off. No legitimate business would operate with their letterhead messed up. I did not give them any information that was not already disclosed on my resume. I have also reported this to FTC.
