My PCA and I looked for a customer service number for Etsy, I was lead to a website that was listed as Etsy. I called this number and we were looking to resolve an order that wasn’t received or refunded. The people over the phone stated a refund could be issues to her cash app. They also had us download a third party “screen viewer” app. Long story short, she had to cancel her debit card, close her entire bank account, and they may have gotten more information with the cash app account being verified. Today is the day after and we looked into this “Etsy number” again.. It looks like an Etsy profile. I’m unaware if it even truly is. Either way, scam situation to the fullest. We’re still waiting to see if the 380some dollar transaction that showed as pending on her account yesterday, goes through.
