I applied for a job through Indeed. I received an e-mail confirming I got the position from Ricks Judd. A check was sent to me for $3980.00 from Lehigh Showcase Properties (25 Homestead Rd N Ste 11 Lehigh Acrces, FL 33936) as upfront salary plus expenses for purchase of equipment (cell phone and desktop computer: total cost - $996). The check was sent from a California address (2032 Camfield Ave Commerce, CA). There is no business listed at this address.

The pieces just don't seem to fit together.

The e-mails from Ricks Judd encouraged me to deposit the check immediately and e-mail the deposit slip showing proof of deposit.
