I was approached by email stating that they saw me from another job I applied to, which I did not actually apply. Everything was done through email, no phone numbers, I asked for a phone call, nothing. They asked which bank I use, which I did not provide. Then the offer letter states they will pay me in a very weird way. It states The company will send you funds via check for your private data entry software registration, it's a single user software and cannot be shared or registered by anyone except you, it requires a face recognition feature for this to get started. I suspected a scam but that sealed the deal. Then they sent a text that my phone marked as spam.
