I was looking for a job, for extra income. I got a text message from this company. It said drive your car for advertising. The advertising was for Mountain Dew Energy Drink. Get paid to drive your vehicle to advertise Mountain Dew Energy Drink, and get paid $500/wk. They ask for your address, year, make, and model of your vehicle. You are asked to send in some other information, to finalize it, (sorry forgot what that was). The last part I did not do, it didn't sound right, so I ignored it. A few days later I get a FedEx delivery, knowing I wasn't looking for anything. It was from the company, that wanted me to advertise. Mind you; I did not finalize the last request, (I IGNORED IT). In the package there was a check, for $3,875.00. I was to call an number, before I did anything with the check, and for the person in the letter, (Mr. Austin White), and to give him my full name, check amount, and check number. I did not do anything. Monday morning, I called bank that was on the check, to verify the company/foundation on the check, They had know information on Company, if it was a business account, they could give me information about it. I was asked what did they want me to do, and I told her. The person said sounds like a scam. So I reported to Better Business Bureau. The scam is called: Car Wrap. Please be careful of things that maybe to-go-to-be-true. Do your research first!
