ADECCO SIGNAL MESSENGER SCAM

I've been looking for remote jobs recently and yesterday I received a green text message from the number above saying an adecco remote chat specialist job I applied for through indeed liked my resume and wanted to interview me. They asked me to download the Signal Messenger app and text the number 858-522-9581 and that I was speaking to a Gordana Landen. I did this all, I spent 40 minutes doing an "interview" with Landen through this messenger app where they asked me simple information that would be on my resume, then explained the job, the website, my position, what they would pay, what I would need, and my goals. Landen said she would send the messages to the board to see if I would be hired. She said to message her again at 8 am sharp to see if I would be hired or not. This morning I messaged her, then got the news that I was hired, they then asked for personal information such as my full name, address, id, ssn, state, city, signature. I gave them all this information, she then said thank you the information was being processed and then went on to talk about my contract and again my duties. She then began to talk about a check she would be sending me electronically to then scan and add to my bank account to then use that money to buy the materials i needed for work through the vendors they would provide. My parents at first were happy with me getting hired and comfortable with the business, they even told me to give this information out. Then after a few minutes my father began to do more research on the place, and told me to call hr or corporate to see if the process I was following for employment was correct. After calling around to the different Adecco locations, one of the workers were able to tell me this is a "slick" scam on the Signal Messenger account and for the Adecco company. I have now not reached back out to the "Gordana Landen" I was talking to and am reporting this to everyone in order to make sure my name and information can get protected.

I received an employment offer from what I thought was Adecco Group. They asked me to download an online messaging app to communicate and interview. They sent me a job offer along with all the job benefits. They told me I was speaking with Gordana Landen, who after researching I found is the Chief Human Resources Officer at Adecco. I thought because this person works for Adecco that this might be legitimate, but it turns out they were just acting as an imposter.

They then sent me a check for $2758.38 and told me that I would be using that money to buy the supplies I needed to work from home. They told me to print it out on my printer at home and deposit the check using my bank's mobile app. I was then to use that money to go to the vendor they specified to purchase the needed materials.

They then started asking very frequently when I was going to get the check deposited.

I then called ScamPulse.com and they let me know that these are all the telltale signs of an employment scam.

Same here, I did get a text message from 254-540-6542 with instructions to download Signal Private Messenger and to contact a Gordona Landen on Signal at 858-522-9581, I am only posting this so people will see this post when they google these scammers.
