I clicked on a recipe website and the screen flashed and stated not to do anything with the computer but call the Microsoft number on the screen 800-642-7676, which I did. The man on the line said to not call anyone else because the hacker also has my phone and if they find out they'll know we are trying to track them and no one else could help me with this anyway. Although, I did send a message to a friend via Facebook messenger via my personal cell. They are slick. They made me believe they were calling my financial institution and transferring me on a secure line and at that point asked me and I gave info because I thought I was connected to my banks. I gave social security number, address, mother's maiden name, bank account balances and probably more. I asked to speak with what was supposedly my bank's fraud officer and he told me that if I didn't cooperate I would be taken to jail for 29 years. He transferred me back to a woman who was supposedly a rep from my bank and I told her that I needed to call my local bank and verify. She got rather upset with that and I then started calling my bank on a different cell and she hung up. They did try to reach me 2 times after that from number 425-728-5338 but I didn't pick up.

Received a call from "Unknown" number stating that they were calling from Microsoft to tell me that my computer is compromised.

Imposter from "Microsoft" called to tell me my computer is full of viruses and took remote access to my hard-drive. Told me I could have 1-yr. of such "service" by buying a $200 ITunes card from Walmart, etc. I then called the ScamPulse.com to ask if such a call is legitimate and was told it is not.
