I was contacted by a man claiming to be the president of American Gaming Association, saying I was the 2nd place winner of their monthly cash giveaway. I had to pay $799.99 in taxes that will be reimbursed to me, and I have to give him my name, address, and telephone number to verify my winnings and such.

I reverse looked up his phone number and got his IP address through the headers in his email (google how to do this, this is how you find out it’s a scammer) and looked up his IP address online to find out he’s a scammer.
