Type of a scam Employment
2. The Reporter received a job offer from the Scammer and passed through the interview. The Reported informed that the Scammer looked legit and prepared the job offer documents using the Company's letterhead.
3. After the Reporter passed the interview and accepted the job offer, the Reporter was requested to pay the invoices for $3,947,98 and $5,937.87, with payment details "Project funding".
4. The Scammer used the following emails to contact the reporter: [email protected]; [email protected]; [email protected].
5. The Reporter was also reached on Facebook by the Scammer. The Scammer used the following profile: https://www.facebook.com/oriyomi.ladosha.
6. The Reporter informed the Company that Scammer reached other people as well asking to send money via Venmo, Cashapp, and Zelle.
7. On September 8th, the Company received another email that reported that – “Someone email by the name of [email protected] is trying to pose as you.”
