I got a missed call from 888–304–0990 so I called back and as it was ringing, there was an automated message playing claiming that they are giving away free products such as iPads, iPhones, smart watches, etc. Then a woman answered the phone claiming to be from Verizon, but Verizon will never call you, and will never promote giving away free products over the phone. What happens in the scam is that once they finish telling you about all of their “free” products they will actually give you an amount to pay them for a fee or whatever it may be. This is not legit.
