The Scammer came up to me asking for help. Claimed that his wallet was stolen and him, his wife and three kids need gas money and $3000 to make it back to California. He introduced himself as Mohammed , from Dubai and a millionaire with his family owning five hotels. Has a Middle Eastern accent. Height is around 5’ 5”. Has a Polynesian tattoo sleeve on his left arm. Gave me a Gold Rolex watch, white face with diamonds circling the watches face perimeter, an 18K ring, 18K gold necklace and bracelet to convince me that he was legitimate person and would pay me back when he gets back home. Told me that when he returns he would pay me back and take back his Rolex watch and ring because it was a present from his grandfather.

I gave him only $1900.00. After he left in a white car with his with and three kids I immediately went to the jewelry store to find out the authenticity of the jewelry. Unfortunately, they were all fake. When I tried calling him back my phone was block. I did try calling with my other phone with a different number and it went through with no answer.

I have report the incident to the Newport News Police Department and they a currently looking in to this. Hope we catch this person and get him off the streets.
