Their message actually came thru with a CareerBuilder heading stating that that found me on CB. They fronted themselves as being Indeed Inc, and they sent convincing paperwork with a bogus generic header. I felt something was a little suspicious but I do have a resume' posted on CB and Indeed so I explore the offer further. I filled out the application, which was vague and never asked for personal information. Along with that application they also sent a job interview questionnaire. The next day they sent me and acceptance letter and a form asking me for my personal bank information. And it was at that point that I paused and realized that this may not be legit. Thankfully I am not a complete [censored], I did not fill anything else out. Just to be safe I put a credit alert out just in case because I did provide my name, address, and phone number. Im not sure what can be done because I figured out the scam before it went too far. Hopefully, I dodged a bullet completely and no legal action has to be taken. Do NOT fall for these employment scams. Funny part is, I already have a good job so I have no clue why I even entertained that garbage in the first place. BEWARE.
