I soon received an email from a company called UBSGlobal regarding all travel confirmation and expected arrival time. It was hard to communicate with this person due to very thick accent but so far I thought it was going to be a successful purchase.
Probably 30 minutes later I get a panic call asking for $995.00 for an appropriate travel crate due to COVID-19 and that it was going to be refundable. The company again asked for the money to be paid via cash app, which I refused. When I finally got in contact with the person It was not Abigail (who I thought I was making a transaction with) It was a male with a very thick African accent ( very similar to the shipping representative who had just called) who claimed to be her husband. I explained that I did not have that amount of money at hand and that he was gonna have to pay and get reimburse me, of course this did not work for him. I immediately asked for my money back and he hung up on me.
The shipping company on the other hand kept calling and sending e-mails asking for money. On the last call they threaten me with surrendering the dog to authorities and accusing me of abandoning the puppy. They refused to surrender it to the sender and recognized only me as the sore responsible party. I asked to let me know where it was going to be surrendered and they also refused.
