The scammers advertised a job offer where you got to work from home and provided the equipment needed except for a brand new iPhone 13 Pro Max. My wife was told she had to go to a Verizon/At&t store and make a down payment, then the phone would be sent to scammer/company who would then send the equipment, phone, and W2 and other paperwork to my wife.
