They reached out to me via text message saying they had came across my resume on Career Builder and that they wanted to interview me for a job on Skype or Microsoft Teams, so I downloaded Teams and went forth with the interview, they told me about the company and benefits and then asked me questions and I answered and they said they were impressed by me and told me about the hours and asked me what hours I wanted to work, and we talked about the training. They said I had to get back online this morning at 8 am to tell me whether or not I had the job. I had told them I had a printer that is a copier and scanner and I also have a laptop. They had previously told me that pay would either be weekly or bi-weekly, when I asked them how soon after training I would be paid,(they said it was paid training) they said pay was daily. I asked them if I would be filling out a W-9 and they completely ignored that question. They said I would be receiving a HP laptop and a printer, copier, scanner tomorrow via FedEx, and asked me if I had a Wells Fargo mobile app. I had previously told them I have Cash app that is a debit card linked to a bank and PayPal. They kept pushing about a bank account, and said that I would have to pay for a software program to put on my new laptop, and the company would reimburse me, and this was after they said they would send me funds for a new office set-up as well as a $100 sign-on bonus. I told them I had no money to buy anything and they still kept pushing and I asked why I had to buy a program before I got the company provided laptop and why wasn't the program already installed on the company laptop. I said I would wait until they issued me the funds via PayPal and until after I received the company provided laptop to buy the program, and they did not respond. It was a huge waste of my time and energy and very frustrating. I don't think anything about this company is real, which is too bad because the idea and the landing page was very nicely done, if they would put in just half the effort to actually legitimately build landing pages for people online, they could actually make real money instead of scamming people, which seems hit or miss..
