Received a voicemail on my mobile regarding a civil lawsuit against me. They asked that I return their call so I did and they said that I will be served will legal court documents tomorrow and once the documents are served I will no longer be able to settle my HSBC credit card debt outside of court.

I told them I had no such debt and they said it shows on their records. They said they can help me settle for a much lower amount than what is owed. I told them I would get back to them and now they sent me an email for me to settle the amount owed “electronically”.
