After applying for the remote position on LinkedIn, a HR person reached out to me via email requesting a good time for interview to be conducted on Microsoft Teams. The interview was conducted via questions on Teams and then I got notified that I passed for a second interview. An HR rep called to interview me and only asked 3 questions. He ended with you got 9/10 and got the job. They sent me initial paperwork and I had to send a voided check back. They had me set up with a Training Coach via Teams. He said they would send me a check of $4900 to purchase the equipment to set up my office. They would always add perks about the company, PTO, reimbursements for classes, etc... I asked for the benefits package to be sent and they said it would be but first needed to get the equipment. The E-copy check came and I deposited on Friday. They waited till Saturday to have it available ( at least that is what showed in my account). Then they had me run all over to get the money to a retailer, whom they would not name when asked. They wanted me to take out the money and transfer using a BITCOM, which didn't work. Then they had me transfer a sum using my PayPal account. Other amounts were via credit cards purchased at Walmart and pictures taken of the front and back. Well, I did not feel great about any of this but had been out of work for some time and needed employment. I am now still unemployed and out $4000.

I am disputed the PayPal transaction but realize lost the credit card amount.Let me know if you need anymore information.

Note: this has happened with the company Active Wellness who also reached out to me for a remote Health coaching position. They also conducted things via Teams but since I had sadly caught on to Prime Healthcare's scam I did not continue with a 2nd interview. Active Wellness provided an apology statement on LinkedIn yesterday (1/31) regarding this issue.
